The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced & motivated National Team Supervisor to join our Fortem National team. This is a permanent position ideal for someone who is confident, driven, and passionate to succeed.

The Project
The Fortem National Team A team of experienced supervisors and highly skilled multi skilled trades who are ambassadors of the business, reliable and flexible to work across all Fortem contracts; delivering a high standard of work, upskilling others, and sharing and embedding best practise to leave a lasting impact on the contract As part of the National Team your role may require you to work away from home from time to time up to 4 nights per week support our contracts Benefits - Salary sacrifice company car OR basic salary + Motor Expenditure Allowance - 24 days annual leave + bank holidays & your birthday off (or the nearest Friday/Monday, if it falls on a weekend) - Generous sick pay - Pay review every January - 26 weeks full pay maternity leave - 8 weeks full pay paternity leave - Discounted gym memberships at national and local gyms - Up to £3,000 colleague referral fee - Other benefits including dental care, private healthcare, cycle-to-work scheme, mobile phone provider discounts & more

Essential and Desirable Criteria

You will lead the team of trades people and sub-contractors in undertaking the required works to the highest possible standard.

As a supervisor you will motivate, coach and retain tradespeople to ensure tradespeople are competent in their work and renowned for their level of commitment, capability and workmanship.

You will be responsible for planning and organising your team to deliver outstanding workmanship and performance in line with KPI's.


Personal Qualities

Essential:

  • Ability to work away from home up to 4 nights a week
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent dispute resolution skills
  • Experience of supervising teams
  • Good understanding of building maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence required Desirable:
  • Social Housing experience
  • City and Guilds to appropriate level
  • Experience of PDA's use
