Are you passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school located in the vibrant community of Fleetwood, Lancashire.

Teaching Assistant

Location:
Fleetwood, Lancashire

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm


Days:
Monday - Friday


Salary:
£13.20 per hour


Year group:
KS2


Position Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in their educational journey. Your contributions will help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and guidance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Help students overcome challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Collaborate with the school staff to create a supportive educational experience.

Requirements:


  • A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to work in a dynamic classroom environment.
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable).
  • Level 1,2 or 3 in a Childcare qualification or equivalent (Not essential)
  • Experience within the last 2 years working or volunteering supporting children
