Role Overview:
As an Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Head of Finance. This is a diverse position encompassing both accounts payable and accounts receivables responsibilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing payments, and ensuring smooth cash flow.


Responsibilities:


  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, assisting with monthend and yearend closing procedures.
  • Maintain vendor and customer records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve any financial discrepancies.

Person Spec:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, handling accounts payable and receivables.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
