The Role


Working for a leading global manufacturer, the Manufacturing Engineer will develop processes and provide technical solutions including material management in order to ensure compliant parts.


Key responsibilities:
Work cross functionally with teams to maximums operations

Ensure consistency and best practice across production

Lead complex problem identification, containment and resolution

Create and implement action plans to rectify systematic process breakdowns

Design and implement new manufacturing processes, reducing risks

Write Manufacturing process documentation including test procedures, quality control plans, manufacturing procedures

Assist in the development of PFMEAs

Support design and change management processes

Lead manufacturing reviews including Critical Design Reviews

Support Operations and Engineering in the introduction of new manufacturing processes

Report results from product and process yield metrics to senior management team


The Person
Degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience

Experience in complex manufacturing

Ability to work in fast paced/cross-functional team environment


Experience developing new process methods, driving continuous improvement activities and ability to define tooling requirements and developing manufacturing estimates for BOMs.
