The SEMH Classroom Assistant Role:

The SEMH Classroom Assistant:

To be eligible for this SEMH Classroom Assistant role, you must hold a Level 3 SEMH Classroom Assistant qualification or higher.

It is important that you have a compassionate, resilient personality and can effectively build relationships leading to a constructivelearning dynamic.

You should have experience working as an SEMH Classroom Assistant previously, and you should have a good understanding of SEN, particularly Autism.

The School:

This all-through SEMH school located in East Birmingham caters for pupils with additional needs: primarily SEMH difficulties, Autism and challenging behaviour, that has resulted in them leaving their mainstream setting.
