Up to £56,000 Benefits: Company Car/Allowance, Pension and Healthcare**Autograph Recruitment are working with a specialist Civil Engineering contractor in South Wales who are looking to appoint a Site Agent to join their growing team.

The company who has been trading for more than 40 years and who offer a family run and whoreally value their team offer cover a broad range of schemes.

Theseinclude Highways, Groundworks, Commercial and environmental projects across the UK.

The business whilst being involved in major projects have also secured several other exciting projectswhich has resulted in them looking to expand their teams across the South Wales region.

The team led by the Operations Director are looking for an experienced Project Manager ideally with highways experience to manage multiple projects across the Wales region.

You will play a key part of the management team and you willensuring the successfuldelivery of projects valued from £500,000 to £50M, this will include managing on site teams, producing progress reports and involvement, risk assessments and supporting the pre constructions team with tenders.

In this role you will be working autonomously but you will also have the support from a well-establishedteam as and they offer continual development career progression and if desired the financial support with gaining further qualifications including charterships.

Responsibilities:

Tooversee projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction
Plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
Coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division
Ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely
Liaison with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients

A BEng/BSc/HNC in Civil Engineering

Experience of managing Civil Engineering Projects & Frameworks

QA knowledge and be able to identify risk

Support the Project Manager and oversee site team
