Vanrath are extremely pleased to be working with an award winning company located just outside Antrim to find their new L&D Advisor.
The role will sit within the wider HR Team, reporting to the Group HR Manager and will focus on HR Generalist duties including recruitment, learning & development, employee relations and various projects as and when required, for the first 6 months.
After this period, the role will evolve to a pure L&D Advisor role.Package & Benefits

The Role
- In conjunction with the Group HR Manager, devise and implement the HR Learning & Development strategy.
- Identifying, developing and delivering training opportunities through various methods including performance appraisals, training needs analysis, colleague feedback etc.
- Managing the smooth running of training programmes, supporting bespoke development events, and assisting in the delivery of strategic L&D projects.
- Ensuring that HR support is aligned to business objectives.
- Drafting, implementing and monitoring HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and organisational business needs.
- In conjunction with the Group HR Manager, devise and implement the HR Learning & Development strategy.
- Manage the smooth running of training programmes, supporting bespoke development events, and assisting in the delivery of strategic L&D projects.
- Planning and delivery of HR projects identified through company strategy.
- Maintain all employee records in accordance with Data Protection requirements to ensure legal compliance.
- Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management.
- To deputise for HR colleagues as and when required.
- Degree Level Qualification in Business/HRM
OR Relevant CIPD qualification at Level 5 or above. - 35 years' generalist HR experience, with a minimum of 23 years' experience at HR Advisor/Business Partner level.
- Solid HR generalist experience in the following areas: Implementation and management of the Learning & Development strategy; Employee Relations managing Grievance and Disciplinary cases with a sound understanding of employment legislation; Developing HR Projects in support of business objectives; Managing Attendance
- Experience of working in a fastpaced, growing environment
- Microsoft Office, including proficient in Excel
- Excellent Communication skills, with an ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to multiple deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Be organised in their daily tasks with excellent organisational and time management skills
