  • The Governing Body of Irk Valley Community School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, talented and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our staff team.
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • Experience of working as a teaching assistant, preferably in Key Stage
  • Good Numeracy and Literacy skills, at least a Level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning
  • Significant experience of working with children in the classroom
  • A passion to work with children with a vision to make a positive difference
  • A willingness to work with all pupils including those with additional or complex needs
  • You must be up for a challenge and able to work in a fastpaced environment where no day is the same
  • You need to be resilient, hardworking and a good team player who can build positive relationships with children and families from a wide range of backgrounds
