Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Higher ST- ST5) in Anaesthetics at this busy major UK teaching hospital.

The post is available from the 1 February 2023 for 6 months.


The Clinical Fellow position would suit any trainee with a minimum of two years experience in the specialty, providing the opportunity to further their anaesthetic experience in a supervised training environment, completing modular training in a number of subspecialty areas of anaesthesia, appropriate for their level of experience.

This post is equivalent to a training post in every way, although does not have Deanery approval. Please note that these posts donotcarry Postgraduate Dean's approval or training recognition.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of commencement is required.


The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
