With over 30 years in the transport and warehousing industry, McGregor Logistics offers a solution for all General Haulage requirements, from full load deliveries, Biomass transport services, Pallet Network Distribution (Palletways and Pall-Ex), European full load and Network delivery service, Warehousing, Fulfilment and commercial vehicle servicing and repairs.


With its head office based in Warmsworth, Doncaster, and operations in Tilbury Docks and Cardiff, McGregor Logistics operates a large and diverse fleet enabling us to provide a reliable and consistent service to our customers.

We have a new fleet of DAF trucks equipped with Double Bunks, Fridge, Microwave, TV, 24v-240v Inverters, Climate control, leather steering wheel and much more.

We operate 150 trailers, including curtain sided trailers, walking floor trailers, Moffett mounted curtain sided trailers, skeletal trailers, refrigerated box trailers and low loaders.


We now have a vacancy for a
Network Night Supervisor to join our friendly Network team based at
GPark, Armthorpe, Doncaster.

The depot operates as a Pallet Network Depot completing collections and deliveries around the Yorkshire region.


Role Responsibilities

  • Handover from day team
  • Supervise all elements of the evening operation, including vehicle loading, planning adjustments, driver briefing.
  • Scanning all outbound freight to the correct vehicles/locations
  • Loading and unloading pallets on and off double deck trailers
  • Knowledge of safe loading practices
  • Monitor delivery run progress
  • Strive for optimum driver performance & system adherence
  • Briefing and Debriefing Drivers
  • Log vehicle defects & plan in scheduled maintenance
  • Complete daily and weekly KPI reports
  • Routing vehicles for the next day
  • General Warehousing
  • Housekeeping

Person Requirements
Experience within the transport industry would be beneficial for this role.

  • Experience of working in a Pallet Network would be ideal
  • Effective communication skills with a professional approach
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised, able to prioritise and multitask
  • IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
  • Team player, selfmotivated, flexible and confident
  • May involve some lone working in the evenings with security on site
  • FLT licence mandatory
Hours - 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday
