Overview
MYHSM is a small company which is part of the larger Utimaco organisation. We offer the hardware-based cryptographic functions required by banks and other organisations when processing payments.

This functionality is currently provided by the bank's in-houseHardware Security Modules (HSMs), but with the widespread move to cloud computing, MYHSM is in the unique position to provide access to industry-leading payment HSMs as a cloud service.


We are growing rapidly and have already deployed the solution in 6 data centres around the globe with more to follow.

The service is controlled centrally from the UK, and management of the HSMs and cryptographic keys is performed under dual control fromwithin our secure room in Aylesbury.

Some Finance and Sales Team members are also based in Cardiff.


This varied and interesting role has arisen due to the present incumbent moving to a different role within the Group.

The position will primarily involve managing the day-to-day finance functions and supervising two part time sales ledger assistants whoare based in Aylesbury.

Monthly Management accounts are prepared and submitted to Head Office in Germany to a strict timetable. Support is also given to another UK Group company.


Key areas of responsibility

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Year end account and liaising with UK auditors
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Process Payroll & expenses and provide occasional support to the central HR Team
  • Production & Maintenance of finance leasing schedule
  • Reconciliation of bank and processing purchase ledger payments
  • Supervision of sales ledger & purchase ledger assistants (based in Aylesbury)
  • Improve and optimise current business process with the aim of automating any existing as well new processes'

Required skills and experience

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
  • Previous experience of managing a small Finance department
  • Experience of processing payroll
  • Experience with SAP B
  • Collaborates well within a team and able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Understands things quickly and not afraid to ask questions where necessary
  • Driven to do things in the simplest, most efficient, and most maintainable way
