Milton Keynes Talking Therapies Service has been providing support to the residents of Milton Keynes since 2009.

We are a well-established and successful service that is currently expanding to meet the increasing needs of the local community.

Our team consists of diverse and dynamic psychological professionals and support staff. We are responsible for providing low and high-intensity, evidence-based interventions in accordance with the stepped care model.

To support with the delivery of psychoeducational groups to patients under the direction and guidance of Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and supervisor(s)

To support Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners with general administration tasks and patient-related administration. To support with planning and organization of psycho-educational groups and any administration linked to courses.


Assist in the screening and processing of new referrals to the service, including making pathway confirmation calls following under the direction of qualified staff.

To undertake research and development activities under the guidance of head of service.

To undertake continuing professional development and personal clinical supervision.

Under the direction and guidance of senior staff to develop initiatives around self-help and community engagement, including supporting the role of volunteer or helper.


Opportunity to work as a champion within the service within a particular specialty (e.g., LGBTQ+, Wellbeing, Young People champion, etc.).

Attend all supervision as relevant to the role, including clinical skills supervision, one-to-one line management, and case management supervision.

To undertake any training that might be required to maintain an appropriate level of expertise.

To compile and return statistics and activity levels as appropriate.

To participate in audit and personal review activity as required
