I am currently working with a leading, global supplier of engineered products selling into the Nuclear, Oil & Gas and petrochemical industries.

This business supply both standard and special products on a global basis.

Due to expansion I am leading the Search for a Scandinavian Sales Executive to join their team.

No sales experience is needed, just a strong understanding of engineering along with a natural drive to succeed along with an understanding of Scandinavian culture.


The ability to speak a Scandinavian language is preferred, however if you have a Link i.e previous experience working in this market or close relative.

Package Details:

- £25K- £28K (Dependant on experience)

  • Uncapped Commission (Paid Quarterly)
  • OTE Commission £8 first year, £12K second year.
  • Monday-Friday 8:0017:00
  • 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Role Details:


  • Handling of existing and new customer accounts.
  • Ensure all paperwork/systems are adhered to i.e. Potentials sheet, Call reports, filing etc.
  • Attend exhibitions and visit specific customers as required.
  • Introduce new business from prospective accounts and to regenerate business from dormant accounts.
  • Investigate and progress new markets and opportunities.
  • Managing accounts of existing customers and generating sales.
  • Promote business to build customer portfolio.
  • Raise the industry profile of the company to current and prospective customers.
  • To assist in developing the sales and marketing strategy to include advertising and
promotion.

  • To work closely with the Sales Manager to help form a successful Sales Team.
  • Research new prospects
  • Promote good communication across departments. Always communicate any worthwhile
situations with the management team within the Commercial office.

  • Liaise with customers immediately in the event of and potential issue arising which may
become or be a difficult situation. i.e. Price increases, late deliveries, etc.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Degree within a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Aerospace/aeronautical engineering or related).
  • Understanding of Scandinavian culture (This could be: working in this market, understanding of the language or related).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Natural drive to succeed.
  • Driving license.
