EAM Advisory - Senior Consultant

Position Summary:


Working as an Advisory Consultant within the Cohesive EMEA Advisory team, supporting a variety of business transformation programmes and projects.

The role will include consulting with clients, using your enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience to act as a 'critical friend' to develop and shape their businesses and improve their asset management capabilities.


Key to the role is the development of client relationships, to lead and manage key accounts and identify business opportunities in new and existing markets and win work.

You will be involved in a variety of projects, across different industry sectors, which will enable you to learn, develop, share, and adapt approaches to deliver value for our clients.


Your Day-to-Day / Responsibilities:

As a new department at Cohesive, every day will be different.

One day you will be consulting to a new client who has little understanding of ISO The next day may see you working with a blue-chip logo who wishes to optimize their asset management practise through cutting edge products and solutions.


In addition to client facing work, there is a need for internal thought-leadership on emerging business transformation and asset management topics.

Flexibility to participate in ad-hoc activities across all stages of the sales cycle is a necessity.


The role works closely with the EAM Advisory Director and will have significant opportunity to contribute and influence the shape of the department within the organisation.

A V-connected role, there will be opportunity for travel across both UK and EMEA. Regular office visits are encouraged to harbour a close knit, well-functioning team environment.


What You Bring to The Team / Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

You will have experience of working in an Infrastructure Organization, with knowledge of the major phases of the asset lifecycle (Acquire, Operate, Maintain, Decommission) and its enablers e.g., Asset Information & Asset Risk.

Additional experience of working in a Consultancy Organization, directing the delivery of consultancy programs and projects, would be a major advantage.


  • Relevant experience & education in at least one of; transportation & mobility, Energy & Utilities, and Building & Communities.
  • Understanding of business process flows such as Investment/Business Planning, Work Management, Safety Management, and Inventory Management.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Asset Management Standards; ISO550001 and GFMAM 3
  • Demonstrably good report writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • An understanding of asset information and information governance approaches.
  • Analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills in either consulting or assetintensive organizations for senior stakeholders.
  • IAM certificate and/or diploma status.
