We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Director working for an exciting and dynamic Nationwide company based in Staffordshire.


Job Purpose:

  • Responsible to create, lead and deliver the Sales strategies for the Company and to drive performance and growth sales with responsibility for delivering the sales, margin and EBITDA of the company.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Has excellent relationship and communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Proven history of leading large, complex projects and sales cycles
  • Previous B2B experience
  • Experience in Digital Sales Development
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Driven and creative individual with a track record of consistently exceeding objectives
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team
Proven success in managing customer relationships


Key Results Areas:

  • Contribute to the overall business strategy specifically relating to sales and customer service objectives across all sectors of the business
  • Set clear targets for Sales Managers and oversee achievement of these through coaching, support, and KPI measurement
  • Develop and review full annual budget for Sales
  • Review, analyse and present sales performance against planned margins & sales objectives including control of department overheads
  • Prepare and present sales strategy to the board demonstrating short,medium and long term strategy to grow business.
  • Collaborating cross functionally throughout the sales process
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends and conducting competitor analysis.
  • Measure the ongoing commercial performance of the product portfolio, using insight to recommend necessary actions to deliver budget and the sales forecasts.
  • Development of business plans to realise new product opportunities
  • Working in partnership with the Marketing director
  • Report monthly on sales performance including presenting at management meetings
