What you'll be doing:

As part of a comprehensive approach to managing and developing the St.

James's Place Partnership, the Operations Consultancy Team are a vital part of a specialised Field Management Team, focused on enhancing Partner Practices back-office infrastructure and process'.


The Operations Consultancy team is made up of Consultant's that have expert knowledge in either HR, Operational Excellence or Business Processing who together will be able to help Practices improve their overall business performance.


  • Deliver appropriate and relevant onsite and remote consultancy support to Partnership businesses. This is likely to involve the discussion of longterm business goals; strategic and tactical observations; and specialist insights and recommendations for improvement/growth being made, as well as implementation strategies for any recommendations.
  • Support St. James's Place Partners in finding opportunities within the Practice to influence behaviours and identify more efficient ways in which they can process business. By assisting Practices in effective process management they are able to run more efficiently and thus increase capacity.
  • Highlight potential challenges in implementing proposals for change and provide options and solutions to those challenges.
  • Design, develop and deliver engaging learning materials/training events to Partners/Practice Managers/Partnership Development Managers (and others) as required to equip them with the skills and knowledge to effectively process business.

Who we're looking for:


Business Processing Operations Consultants are professionally skilled in the provision of internal processing procedures and assisting the business to ensure their Practice can submit business in the most efficient way.

They are able to draw on expertise from across the business to support consultancy on more specific requirements.

  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of successfully implementing solutions.
  • Previous financial services/wealth management experience and/or working in a regulated environment an advantage.
