About the role


As Digital Transformation Graduate, you help defining and completing the strategic innovation agenda for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Property and Casualty (P&C) unit globally.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Working with the P&C management team to define their business and innovation strategy
  • Support translating the P&C strategy into concrete digital innovation opportunities, including the exploration and building of new business models
  • You filter, prioritize and assess the potential of these opportunities (in terms of measurable benefits), assess investment needs and actively propose the launch of new initiatives
  • Support execution of those business critical initiatives
  • Engaging with Product Owners, Technology Leads, Business Process Managers, Business Architecture and the Data Office for a proper endtoend implementation
  • You will setup relevant crossfunctional implementation teams and provide them with a strategic roadmap and verify successful execution
  • You own the respective change management and roll out efforts
You will therefore significantly support the execution of the overall strategic direction of CorSo and you will have the freedom to identify, recommend and build alternative, potentially radical solutions to concrete business challenges that have the potential to materially contribute in improving

P&C products, servicing offers and processes and therefore help create lasting competitive advantages.


About the team


We are offering an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the "Property and Casualty Digital Transformation Team", which is part of CorSo's "Innovation & Transformation" unit (CITO), whose vision is to transform commercial insurance and reimagine customer experience through innovative use of data and technology, empowerment and enablement of our people, and co-creation of innovative solutions with our customers and partners.


About You

  • Successfully completed university degree, preferably in business administration or equivalent
  • Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, etc
  • Approaches problems with curiosity and openmindedness, is a fast learner
  • Innovative, showing a high degree of own initiative
  • Teamplayer, willingness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit
  • Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global and multicultural environment, and to be mobile in terms of workplace or location if required
  • Aptitude to express yourself effectively in oneonone conversations and small groups
  • Mature & selfconfident; able to work with clients, business partners or senior colleagues
  • Capacity to readily adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
  • Proven expertise to work independently and proactively
  • Strong analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture
  • Excellent oral and written English skills; additional language skills advantageous
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
