Great opportunity for an experienced Risk Manager to contribute to the achievement of a growing organisation whilst maintaining and embedding new risk frameworks.
Key Objectives:
- Ensuring that the risk framework and appropriate culture is embedded throughout the business: to the extent that risks and opportunities are appropriate cited, recorded and managed, in a timely manner and at the appropriate level of seniority.
- Championing risk management across the business, creating a risk management culture.
- Managing the corporate and strategy risk process and function.
- Advising the Executive team and senior managers, offering insight and challenge.
Responsibilities
- To review and further develop the risk management process ensuring it remains in line with current regulatory requirements and best practice, including transparency in reporting.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are updated in accordance with changes to legislation and regulation and are fit for purpose.
- Ensure accountabilities and responsibilities are documented and understood throughout the business
- Manage the risk management process, including the strategic and corporate risk register completion, and facilitating divisional risk register.
- Develop the risk management culture by working with the executive team and Council to facilitate the articulation of the risk appetite
- Work crossfunctionally with divisions and project teams to identify new risks, develop risk mitigations and ensure these are followed.
- Produce timely and effective reporting for the executive team and council.
- Provide risk analysis to the executive team and appropriate mitigations.
