Unqualified applicants, dependent on experience:
£26,650 - £28,187.50 per annum

About the Service


The Waltham Forest SASS team provides Advocacy and Therapeutic support to survivors of domestic violence and abuse living in Waltham Forest.


About the Role


A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen within Waltham Forest SASS team that provides specialist independent domestic and sexual violence services.

This includes a package of support covering crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning.

A key aspect of the role will be to support victim/survivors through the criminal justice system.


About You
We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending VAWG.

You will have a "can-do" approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace's feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.

You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.


Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, demonstrable substantial experience in providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG, and a strong understanding of the criminal justice system.
