Planning and Policy Officer:

We are looking for a keen and self-motivated individual with a passion for protecting the natural environment to take on an exciting role to shape nature's recovery and help us influence key decision makers, the public, and partners.


The Policy and Planning Officer will join the Conservation Strategy Directorate teams supporting nature's recovery across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire.

Our directorate's programme spans policy, planning, advocacy, and landscape recovery.


You will lead local planning and development work in Berkshire and will help shape the Trust's policy and advocacy work across the region, as well as working on national campaigns.

This is an exciting time for nature policy as the next Government will take us to the cusp of 2030 and the target to protect 30% of the planet for nature.


Salary:
£25,600 - £27,617 per annum


Contract:
Permanent


Hours: 35 hours per week. Flexibility in working pattern, in agreement with line manager


Based:
The Lodge, Littlemore, Oxford, or Woolley Firs, Berkshire, or other suitable office (Hybrid working available - to be in office 2 days per week)
