In this Trainee Accountant role, you will be joining a top 100 UK tax & accountancy practice, focused on delivering professional services across multiple fields.

Job description - Insolvency Administrator
In this Trainee Accountant job, you will be exposed to both theoretical and practical experience within accountancy from day one.
Upon completing probation, you will begin your journey towards qualifiedACA certification, supported by the firm and the ICAEW.
This will involve mentorship from dedicated members of the team, with an active interest in your growth from Directors and Partners of the business.
Within the first six months, you will be expected to be working directly with clients, supporting senior members of the team in various settings, remote, and face-to-face.
This role will appeal to a motivated, enthusiastic individual, who will share in a vision to grow a firm where clients value the services provided and respect the relationship with their advisors.
Key responsibilities - Insolvency Administrator
- Developing a good understanding of current accounting standards and practices, through course attendance and practical experience
- Assisting clients with such tasks as management accounts and VAT returns
- Other client responsibilities might other include preparation of statutory accounts and advising on their corporation tax affairs
- Undertaking audit and other assurance work as part of a larger team
Job requirements - Insolvency Administrator
- Degree educated our client will consider disciplines outside of a traditional finance and accountancy realm
- You will need to be a team player, showing a willingness to work cooperatively
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge would be hugely beneficial, alongside a good grounding in basic IT proficiencies such as Excel and other MS packages
- Impeccable attention to detail
