School Site Assistant (Caretaker)


Working as part of a small team ensuring cleaning, caretaking and maintenance tasks are carried out to the agreed standards.

As part of this role, you will be required to complete deep clean duties, lift/move/set up furniture and equipment, perform general porterage across the School site, and assist with the completion of projects, ie cleaning/repairing, roofs, guttering, drainage, plumbing etc, and drive

  • Full driving licence is ideal (REQUIRED for some roles)
  • Experienced in general caretaking duties: locking/unlocking, DIY, grounds, fire & H&S safety tests & compliance, maintenance & repairs
  • Previous school caretaking experience a bonus
  • Confirmation of completion of vetting checks by agency
  • DBS & passport will need to be brought in on first day

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£13.11-£15.11 per hour


Licence/Certification:

  • Enhanced DBS (required)
