ESTIMATOR/ESTIMATING ASSISTANT

JML Contracts are looking for an Estimator/Estimating Assistant for our Civils and Retaining Wall divisions. Great variety of work and fantastic career opportunity. Applicants MUST have prior estimating/site experience within the construction industry.

Our Civils and Retaining Wall divisions carry out low, medium, and high value contracts for several new and repeat clients including private, public sector and Tier 1 contractors.

Job roles will include:

Collating information at enquiry stage prior to tender review
Review tender documents and carry out takeoffs
Issuing subcontract, plant, and material enquiries
Researching and gathering quotes for uptodate and accurate material, plant, and subcontractor costs
Logging and monitoring tenders to ensure all tender submissions are returned on time
Carrying out/assisting with pricing the tenders.
