Job Title:
Credit Control Officer.
Based In:
Chepstow Office of Gateway Credit Union. The role will require flexible working with frequent travel to other areas, principally within Torfaen & Monmouthshire.
Managed by:
Gateway CU Credit Control Team Leader.
Primary Function:
To ensure effective Arrears Control & Bad Debt Recovery.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- To undertake Gateway Credit Union's Credit Control actions.
- To operate at all times within Gateway Credit Union's procedures on Credit Control.
- Visiting members at their home address or other locations in connection with credit control actions.
- To attend Court as a representative of Gateway Credit Union as necessary.
- To accurately record all Credit Control activities within Progress (Credit Control Module training will be provided).
- To make and answer Credit Control related telephone calls.
- To be a member of the Credit Committee and provide regular activity reports.
