JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Legal and Contracts Specialist to join our in-house team, this role can be based at any one of our UK sites: Littleport (Cambridgeshire), Hartlepool, Newcastle or Blyth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

You should ideally be a qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor, or hold a formal legal qualification and have experience in the review and negotiation of terms and conditions of a contract, as well as experience in the resolution of disputes and warranty claims.

We are looking for someone who has a solid understanding of commercial contracts having gained this experience in the construction or energy industry.

You will be a strong communicator, as this role will require you to work across a wide number of stakeholders.

You will be experienced at working to tight deadlines and have the ability to work to successfully manage your own workload and deal with conflicting priorities on your time.

You will be highly organised and have a good working knowledge of all MS Office packages.

We operate a hybrid working approach where you will be required to work a minimum of three days a week in the office and the other two days a week from home if you wish.
