Job Details


To allow the post holder to gain practical experience and undertake training in the practical aspects of Environmental Health sufficient to aid them in the completion the required portfolio and practical experience required to enable progression towards taking the professional exams for the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) Diploma in Environmental Health.


The post holder will carry out tasks and activities required as part of the REHIS Scheme of Professional Practice, along with assisting staff in practical environmental health duties which can include accompanying Authorised Officers and acting as a witness, on occasion this may require some out of hours work.

Work is undertaken in a blended style that will include office access up to 50%, with site and homeworking for the remainder of your working time.


The Person
If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we'd like to hear from you:

  • Hold a BSc (Hons) or MSC in Environmental Health accredited by The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland, or currently enrolled on such an accredited degree course.
