About the role:

We have a new opportunity for an Assurance Lead to join us.

Reporting into the Head of Performance and Enablement Services, you'll be accountable for ensuring that solution delivery complies with all relevant business and technical policies overseeing that our third-party service providers meet and exceed expectations.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing:


  • Engaging with policy owners across the business (security, data, quality, cloud, communications) to ensure alignment to active policies and standards
  • Collaborating with solution managers and principal engineers to define and implement the required controls across solution delivery
  • Preparing for and supporting internal and external audit activity
  • Undertaking regular reviews to validate compliance and effectiveness of all controls
  • Establishing, maintaining and prioritising a backlog of improvements working with suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Leading on the response and resolution of any thirdparty service provider performance escalations
  • Responding promptly to any time critical assurance requests
  • Recording, managing and reporting on any compliance risks

About you:


What we're looking for:


  • Extensive experience in policy and compliance management
  • Experience working and driving performance with third parties/suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to lead and work in a team, as well as being selfsufficient
  • Excellent knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Experience working in complex federated environments
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset and an understanding of lean/agile practices
  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Power BI and Advanced MS Excel is desirable


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
