Pastoral SEMH Assistant

Role:

Throughout this role as a pastoral SEMH assistant, you will be supporting secondary aged students with their work and activities in small groups and on a 11 basis
Assist the students with their social, emotional, and mental health needs
Encourage positive behaviour and be a positive role model
Be proactive and be confident with behaviour management and deescalation strategies

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children or adults with SEMH and SEN is essential for this role, personal experience is also valued
Relevant training and certificates such as Team Teach is desirable, although this can be offered by Veritas
Have proof of eligibility to work in the UK
