Permanent - Medical Receptionist - Part Time Position 20 hrs per week
Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a willingness to learn new skills.

Flexibility to cover shifts across the week is essential - this role will require you to work every Monday and Friday.

The remaining hours will be spread over the remaining days of the week, with the ability to cover periods of annual leave / sickness.

Main duties of the job

You will have experience of working in a Medical administrative role with high level of attention to detail, excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Confidence to build relationships with colleagues and patients, IT literate with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, and keep calm under pressure.
About us

Hillfoot Surgery is a busy, friendly GP surgery based in Pudsey with 3 GP partners, 1 management partner, 2 salaried GP's 1 GP retainer, 2 Registered Nurses, 1 HCA and an admin team of 9.

This post is to replace one of the receptionist / admin team

We are a teaching practice, and have 2 GP registrars working with us, and have medical students on rotation throughout the year

The practice is member of the West Leeds PCN, and various clinical support services provided by the PCN work out of our building

The practice is open from Monday to Friday

We are a supportive team who encourage all members of staff to develop their skills and adapt to new models of working.
