We are seeking an experienced, Accounting/Finance Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport.

Your Challenge:

  • Preparing and analysing monthend management reports; reviewing for accuracy or omissions and reporting on findings
  • Performing adhoc reporting and studies as required including leading or assisting in the completion of bid proposals profit & loss, NPV and ROI
  • Responsible to adhere to compliance requirements for applicable regulations, internal controls and Corporate policies and procedures
  • Documenting and updating accounting policies and procedures
  • Processing and maintaining general ledger, profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
  • Developing plans and coordinating preparation of strategies, budgets and forecasts
- 'Owner' of MIS system, maintaining data cubes and creating complex reports

  • May conduct Principal audits and support internal, external and government audit requirements
  • Developing a thorough understanding of all aspects of the business
  • Performs complex technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance

Your Expertise:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified (or equivalent degree)
  • Proven experience in an accounting position ideally from a manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory and/or Management experience managing a small team
  • Ability to deputise and support Unit Controller as required
  • Strong ERP experience including interpreting and interrogating information
  • Experience with payroll is desired
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Excel
