We are seeking an experienced, Accounting/Finance Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport.

Your Challenge:

Preparing and analysing monthend management reports; reviewing for accuracy or omissions and reporting on findings
Performing adhoc reporting and studies as required including leading or assisting in the completion of bid proposals profit & loss, NPV and ROI
Responsible to adhere to compliance requirements for applicable regulations, internal controls and Corporate policies and procedures
Documenting and updating accounting policies and procedures
Processing and maintaining general ledger, profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
Developing plans and coordinating preparation of strategies, budgets and forecasts

- 'Owner' of MIS system, maintaining data cubes and creating complex reports

May conduct Principal audits and support internal, external and government audit requirements
Developing a thorough understanding of all aspects of the business
Performs complex technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance

Your Expertise:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified (or equivalent degree)
Proven experience in an accounting position ideally from a manufacturing environment
Previous supervisory and/or Management experience managing a small team
Ability to deputise and support Unit Controller as required
Strong ERP experience including interpreting and interrogating information
Experience with payroll is desired
Advanced MS Office skills including Excel
