Your Challenge:
- Preparing and analysing monthend management reports; reviewing for accuracy or omissions and reporting on findings
- Performing adhoc reporting and studies as required including leading or assisting in the completion of bid proposals profit & loss, NPV and ROI
- Responsible to adhere to compliance requirements for applicable regulations, internal controls and Corporate policies and procedures
- Documenting and updating accounting policies and procedures
- Processing and maintaining general ledger, profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
- Developing plans and coordinating preparation of strategies, budgets and forecasts
- May conduct Principal audits and support internal, external and government audit requirements
- Developing a thorough understanding of all aspects of the business
- Performs complex technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance
Your Expertise:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified (or equivalent degree)
- Proven experience in an accounting position ideally from a manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory and/or Management experience managing a small team
- Ability to deputise and support Unit Controller as required
- Strong ERP experience including interpreting and interrogating information
- Experience with payroll is desired
- Advanced MS Office skills including Excel
