Manage analytics behind underwriting and new customer acquisitions for a growing unsecured consumer lending portfolio.

Using your data skills (SQL, Python) and Commercial strengths you will monitor and optimize creditworthiness and affordability strategiesaffecting score cut-offs, acquisition policies, and credit line and rate assignments.

You'll also present your ideas and findings to the leadership team and manage stakeholders across the business and externally.

THE ROLE

Monitor and improve underwriting strategies including managing risk appetite, score cutoffs, approval policies etc
Manage relationships across the business to support Credit Risk Management across the full customer credit lifecycle
Use mass quantities of data to solve the problem of how to optimise customer underwriting decisions
Manage strategy change through necessary signoffs including championing change through the business and supporting it's subsequent implementation
Ensure effective monitoring of Credit Risk Strategy is in place

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Educated to degree level (minimum) in a numerate discipline
Experience working in analytical environment within Credit Risk, Credit Cards, Unsecured lending products or similar
Strong coding skills in Python, SQL or similar
A strategic thinker with high commercial aptitude
Good communication skills with a history of managing relationships in a professional environment
