Financial Crime Coordination


The Financial Crime Coordination Division (FCC) is a relatively new team, established to connect activities across the JFSC, in alignment with the international standards set out by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

Working closely with partner agencies, FCC plays a critical role in supporting the preparation work needed for external reviews including Moneyval.


Your Role:
Head of Financial Crime Coordination (35Hours per week/Permanent)


  • Ensure that the business is advised on developments and enhancements required, so that the JFSC continues to meet international standards.

This will be delivered through:

  • Effective and collaborative working with the Chief Advisor of Financial Crime to ensure the JFSC continues to proactively evolve its financial crime capability in line with international standards.
  • Excellent management / operational direction of the team resulting in a high performing Financial Crime Coordination team who are engaged, agile and effective in facilitating business integrity.
  • Effective relationships with internal stakeholders, in particular, Supervision, Registry Supervision, Enforcement and Policy.
  • Effective relationships with key external stakeholders in particular Government of Jersey's Financial Crime Division and relevant competent authorities.
  • Establish clearly defined responsibilities and objectives for the Financial Crime Coordination team, supporting the JFSC's performance management framework and ensuring ongoing development of team members skill and technical knowledge.
  • Coordinate the JFSC's Financial Crime Supervisory Effectiveness Framework and report to the Chief Advisor of Financial Crime and the relevant oversight committee.
  • Where appropriate coordinate and deliver the JFSC's contribution to international assessments
  • Enhancing the reputation of the JFSC by effectively representing the JFSC at national working groups/meeting.

You will add value to the organisation by:
Being responsible for demonstrating a proactive approach to continually improving the JFSC's AML/CFT/CPF supervisory activities. You will also be a proactive and collaborative member of the JFSC's Senior Leadership team.
