PART TIME FINANCE DIRECTOR - c. 2 DAYS WEEK- WEST LONDON + HYBRID

HEALTHCARE SERVICES INTERNATIONAL SME.

THE COMPANY
The company is a growing Healthcare SME with global offices. They provide consultancy, technology and agency services to the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.


They are looking for a Part Time Finance Director (c.2 days/week) to oversee the commercial and financial management of the European business, including the UK and Germany.


THE POSITION
This is a hands-on through to commercial and business partnering Finance Director position. The position is likely to be for 6 months+ and could become permanent part time or extend.


Responsibilities include:
Oversee the day-to-day commercial and financial management of the EU business

  • Strategic and operational initiatives
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and implement best practices and processes to align with accounting standards whilst achieving company strategic objectives
  • Prepare and present financial and management reports to the board and management.
  • Identify and bring forward solutions where opportunities for improvement can be ascertained
  • Work closely with the local Country Managers on financial performance, forecasting and annual budgeting
  • Overseeing the local audit and tax requirements for EU
  • Manage a small finance team
  • Liaising regularly with both internal and external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors and banking relationship managers
  • Review of monthly management accounts and statutory accounting
  • Preparation of business cases to determine project feasibility
  • Budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis

THE CANDIDATE
The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
