Estimator

Do you have extensive experience as an Estimator within property development and construction? This is a "client side" role working on the refurbishment and disposal of residential property across England and Wales.

Company Profile - Estimator:
Our client is an established property developer/owner and have been in business since the 90's. Their portfolio consists of circa 30,000+ units owned and managed by them. They are very commercial but act with responsibility and integrity. They are a passionate,inclusive team and driven by customer service.

Estimator - Duties:

Budget and cashflow formation
Quantify & cost plan build costs to support initial project appraisals
Appraise land and infill opportunities to deliver viability studies
Work with the Design Team to identify risk and adequate provision
Work with the Sales Team to ensure appropriate costs are included within budgets
Analyse & vet subcontract tender returns
Formation of Final Project Budget
Understanding of project, scope of works and restrictions imposed per site
Give guidance on possible risks and openings within a scheme
Researching cost of items i.e. materials, transport, labour and equipment.
Responsible for the Term Contract Schedule of Rates
Present at pretender meetings and carry out site surveys

Estimator - Person Profile

Proven experience as an Estimator in the Construction industry
Familiar with financial and project principles
Understand scope of works & bills of quantities
Ability to take off quantities from technical drawings and form a concise budget
Able to price from first principles
Competent in assessing contract documents and requirements
Capable of manipulating mathematical data
Ability to travel across England and Wales
Full driving licence

Location:
Bedfordshire / Hybrid / Site based

Salary Package:
£55-70,000 + company car/fuel + great benefits inc. healthcare, pension, life cover etc.
