Description

Do you have proven experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies? Are you confident in negotiating and building relationships with suppliers?

A fast-paced manufacturing business in Nottingham is on the lookout for a Procurement Manager to join the business. Hybrid working is available - typically 2/3 days in office.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you'll work alongside the existing procurement function in sourcing materials and services at the best rate.

Day to day you'll be responsible for:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for a wide range of spend categories including direct and indirect
Negotiating supplier contracts and achieving cost savings
Analysing and benchmarking supplier price and performance
Maintain strategic relationships with customers and suppliers
Identifying any changes by monitoring forecast and market trends
Support when needed with processing purchase orders using ERP system

CIPS is highly desirable, however the business encourage personal/professional development so can be supportive with this.

A history of working in fast-paced manufacturing would be perfect, but a consumer goods background would also be considered.
