Salary:
Up to £50,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and benefits

Are you proud to keep your supply base accountable for delivery? This role will give you the opportunity to develop these skills within the Industrial Policies, Supply Chain & Procurement (ISP) team.

There will also be the opportunity for travel inside andoutside of the UK.

Role responsibilities include managing the performance of the supply base to ensure that they deliver product to time, quality and cost; providing technical direction to the Industrial containment Engineering Team and co-ordinating the Industrial Manufacturingteam's support to the Manufacturing Integrated Production Teams and Defect Review Boards or Project Meetings, taking responsibility for the timely resolution of any supplier issues.


You will ensure product non-conformance defect details are correct; carry out product inspections and ensure that during the product development phase that non-conformances are managed to closure.

You will set the Goods Inwards Inspection criteria in SAP; undertake product verification activities; carry out Product Assessments; support the Industrial Manager in Production Readiness Reviews and ensure that the appropriate improvement plans are putinto place


What we're looking for from you:

  • Ideally qualified to HNC/HND or equivalent experience
  • Indepth knowledge of manufacturing and a good understanding of machining processes
  • Project Management and Supply Chain principles, practices and processes
  • Ability to define, reengineer and review processes
  • Good commercial and financial understanding
  • UKAS Lead Assessor qualified would be desirable but not essential
