A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a talented and ambitious MRTPI Planner to join a statutory consultee, within a small and friendly planning team, making a major difference to the quality of the environment


My client is a public sector organisation who are united in their passion and commitment to make a better future for people and the environment, through helping to develop a new sustainable source of renewable energy for the UK.


The Role


The core of this important role as a Planning & Development Manager involves the preparation of bespoke consultation responses back to Case Officers at local authorities to ensure that new developments within coalfield areas are safe and stable in relationto statutory duties.

You will be a. Previous experience in the public, and private sector, within either Policy or Development is also welcomed.

  • MRTPI qualified Planner, or working towards chartership
  • Significant experience in an LPA Development Management role ideal
  • Up to date knowledge of the Planning systems of England, Scotland and Wales
  • Previous experience in either Policy or Development also welcome
