**The Role

Do you have experience with Microsoft Dynamics Estimating or other Estimating packages? Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented person who works well under pressure and pays close attention to details? If so, we are looking for you.

MM Packaging Deeside is looking self-motived and passionate individual to join our team as an Estimator. In this role, you will provide the business with detailed cost analysis for the purpose of setting/reviewing selling prices.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of an Estimator include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive and review tender information.
  • Liaise with Head of Sales / Account Managers regarding approach.
  • Obtain Board Prices.
  • Generate calculations and price files.
  • Collate samples/drawings and review speeds with Ops.
  • Maintain enquiry database.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Review and set prices with Head of Sales / Account Manager.
  • Mentor team members and assign responsibilities.
  • Ensure other department responsibilities are fulfilled appropriately.
  • Review post calculation with Finance Team.

MM Packaging Deeside is market leader for packaging production in Great Britain.

The plant is equipped with the most modern printing and cutting facilities as well as finishing machines in the country and has its own repro facility.

Through its inhouse packaging development center, it supports customers with conception and graphics from packaging development to design. MMP Deeside mainly supplies the market segments confectionary, tissues, pet food, cereals, frozen food and beverages.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of an Estimator are:

  • Extensive knowledge of all production processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the cost structure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Estimating or other Estimating packages.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently as well as working alongside a team.
