We are seeking to appoint an Associate Dean for Research and Knowledge Exchange in the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences.

This is one of three Associate Deans roles in the faculty that leads a strategic and cross faculty portfolio area to drive our impact, success and growth.


The Associate Director for Research and Knowledge exchange will work closely with senior academic leaders within the faculty and wider university to advance and develop the faculty's Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy as well as lead the research and knowledge exchange community.

In addition to sound research and knowledge exchange experience, you will be forward thinking, creative and ambitious, looking externally for sector trends and best practice which will enhance our reputation regionally and internationally.

This role comes at a crucial time, as we build on the success of KEF and REF 2021 so you will need to be an effective communicator and influencer, able to forge close working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders working in an inclusive, diverse and multidisciplinary faculty.
