Senior Conference Producer -Large Scale Tech Conferences & Events

London office, hybrid working opportunity to work from home 2 days a week

Basic Salary up to £40K + Profit Share

Reporting to the Head of Conference Production the Senior Conference Producer will be responsible for producing and growing a portfolio of existing and launch B2B tech events and associated content.


What will you be doing?

As a Senior Conference Producer you will:

  • Research the commercial market to identify conference topics, themes, speakers etc
  • Create commercially viable and innovative conference agendas
  • Recruit brilliant speakers
  • Write engaging and relevant content (insights, interviews, articles etc) and create a content strategy
  • Develop a sponsorship sales strategy with the sales team
  • Work with marketing to create a campaign that will engage the audience and attract delegates
  • Develop your industry knowledge and become a topic expert
  • Build relationships with key industry professionals
  • Drive the event forward, motivating and supporting the sales, ops, and marketing teams when required
  • Be able to absorb information and communicate effectively
  • Collaborative team working, sharing updates and information
  • Attending the conference on the day, supporting the team, attendees, and sponsors
  • Postevent analysis
  • Develop ideas for future events, strategies to grow your events, and continue to improve the event experience yearonyear

Who are you?


You will be a commercially minded, creative, motivated, and resourceful Conference Producer looking for a position that is challenging, offers responsibility, and has long-term career progression.


  • 24 years of b2b commercial conference production experience
  • A graduate with a 2:1 or a 1st Degree
  • Excellent communication skills, enjoy building relationships and developing understanding
  • Confident talking over the phone, able to question & discuss topics with senior professional
  • Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Professional and credible over the phone and inperson
  • Inquisitive and creative nature
  • Excellent research skills, content driven
  • Project management skills; able to manage time, workload, and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in successfully meeting deadlines and budgets
  • A 'cando' attitude, positive solution driven Conference Producer who works hard to make things happen
