We are looking to hire a focussed and communicative Showroom Consultant to represent a local company through the effective selling and negotiation of customer orders.

Our client is a popular, trusted business, steeped in local history, with over 60 yearsas a market leader. The family-run organisation provide quality, reliable products to both the domestic and commercial markets.


The post holder will lead the successful coordinating of sales operations that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently.

You will put the customer at the heart of everything you do, maintaining an ability to engage and buildrapport with consumers.

Key responsibilities and attributes of the Showroom Consultant will include:

  • Ability to drive sales from plan to close.
  • Upselling and ensuring all sales are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Effective management of the estimation process.
  • Working as a team to deliver the best customer experience possible.
  • Collate information and distribute accordingly.
  • Team player and able to deal with a pastpaced environment.
Essential skills and experiences needed to succeed in this role:

  • Computer skills
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to perform a variety of tasks whilst maintaining flexibility
  • Focus and maintain attention despite potential interruptions
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, alongside adapting to teams and building team spirit
  • Persuading and influencing
  • Ability to forward plan and manage time
