Summary


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and committed teaching assistant to join our happy and dynamic staff team.

The role involves providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs in EYFS including a child with an EHCP with ASD.

Clayton-le-Woods Church of England Primary School is one-form entry with our own Pre-School. We have 221 delightful children in our school family. We are situated in the beautiful Cuerden Valley with extensive school grounds.

We have a dedicated team of experienced teachers, support staff and Governors working in partnership with parents and carers to create a thriving Christian community where children can flourish.

Essential Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or above qualification - appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics

Desirable Qualifications

First Aid training
Safeguarding training

Essential Experience

Working with children in a primary school/EYFS setting

Desirable Experience

Supporting pupils with additional needs
