Production Performance Lead in Central Rivers, UK** we're looking for?


Your future role

  • Using available data sources and systems (SAP, Maximo, Power apps, Qlik), conduct detailed analysis of performance within the production department.
  • Produce monitoring and governance tools and KPI's showing details on SQDC data (Targets for EHS, cost (hours/resources), people development/learning, etc) for each team.
  • Using the available resources, manage/carry out the development and implementation of processes with a view to constantly monitor and improve the projects performance to maximise efficiency.
  • Manage/provide technical support in the form of performance, data, and tools advice to other areas of the business as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for production in relation to obtaining production performance data.
  • Periodically communicate information to the production teams, outlining performance data with positive/negative outcomes and improvement actions, as necessary.
  • Support the function with improvement actions and driving continuous improvements.
  • Identify, suggest, and support development of production improvements to reduce cost, increase quality and efficiency and enhance customer experience (improved monitoring systems, databases, tools, etc).
  • Chair/support necessary forums and workshops relating to the performance topics (resource reviews, EHS meetings, etc).
  • The role is working days, Monday to Friday predominantly, with flexibility required to support, as necessary.

EHS:


  • Ensure all staff meets the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards & customer specifications.
  • Monitoring working practices and environment to ensure that staff and facilities meet the mandatory and/or statutory requirements.
  • Ensure facility/infrastructure/equipment is in a safe condition and in accordance with the local policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company AZDP measures and policies and support with governance of adherence to all staff on site, reporting any issues to peers/management as necessary

Continuous Improvement:


  • Proactively identify areas for improvement by analysis from production/service operation reports and customer complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements. Across all functions.
  • Manage relationship with subcontractors and the customers, as necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement of processes. Look for and implement changes to improve maintenance and operational processes, as well as within all functions.
  • Minimise depotoperating costs and maximise depotoperating efficiencies through effective methods and tools

All about you

Educational Requirements

  • Higher National Certificate, or equivalent/experience, in an Engineering or business field preferable.

Desired Knowledge / Experience

  • Preferable experience in fleet and /or maintenance operations and planning role.
  • Technical knowledge of relevant Traction and Rolling Stock.
  • An Understanding of Railway Depot and Railway Industry Operations preferable.
  • ICT and data system experience (SAP/Maximo/PBI/Qlik)
  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Creation of monitoring and control tools and KPIs.
  • Languages : Country language
