The Role:


Work activities vary but will include - telephones to answer, queries to be resolved, follow up documentation to be sent and systems to be updated.


Here are a few examples of your likely daily tasks:

  • Day to day support for Highways manager
  • Assisting in data reporting
  • Delving into jobs which have led to S74/overruns and carrying out investigative work
  • Being a link between Planning, Operations & Highways
  • First point of contact with external and internal stakeholders ensuring information is distributed.
  • Answer initial queries and escalate to relevant area of the organisation if required.
  • Undertake general office administration duties.

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following...
Ability to complete administrative processes efficiently and effectively, ensuring work priorities are met.

It's essential that you have previous administration experience as well as accurate microsoft office skills with good intermediate knowledge of excel and powerpoint.

An understanding of Streetworks and Highways is beneficial but not essential.


You'll be liaising with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, so great communication skills are also essential, alongside good organisational skills, ability to problem solve and excellent attention to detail.
