PART TIME MANUAL MACHINIST AND CNC LATHE OPERATOR
Maxton Suspension - Cheshire
- £12.00 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience, skill and attitude.

• 16 to 24 hours per week
• Overtime will also be available depending on the time of year.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our business is the design and manufacture of high quality suspension units for the road and race motorcycle market. The successful applicant would become part of our small manufacturing team, working under a team leader.

We expect the successful applicant to be experienced/proficient at using a manual lathe and milling machine. You will be given instruction to begin with.

The role requires adaptability, working on 'batch work' and also 'one off' projects. The applicant must have had previous experience of manual lathes and a good understanding of basic engineering. The applicant must also be a highly motivated individual and keen to learn


OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Be experienced at operating manual lathes/milling machines.
• Work as part of a team or by themselves.
• Can read and understand engineering drawings.
• Use precision measuring equipment.
• Machine components to a tight tolerance and high standard.
• Operate CNC lathes and Milling Machines when required
• Can follow instructions and work unsupervised.
• Keep the working area clean, organised and tidy.
