We are looking for a motivated and highly enthusiastic Accredited CBT Therapist to join our developing Avoided Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) service for children and young people.
You will be working as a part of a developing Multidisciplinary Team that includes Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist and Dietitian all of which share the same passion of developing this new service serving Calderdale and Kirklees.
You will also have the support from our Team Administrator, Consultant and Team manager and you will attend weekly MDTs where cases are presented and treatments reviewed.
You will be working along side those who have experience of working with ARFID patients as your Team Manager was instrumental in setting up the first Adult ARFID service, and has secured supervision with a Psychologist who currently works with children and young people with ARFID.
You will have access to appropriate training and learning opportunities these include attending a Specialist Interest Group meeting held every 8 weeks as well as online training materials.
You will be supported into your role and will have the opportunity to link in with other developing ARFID services to support your learning in this new field.
