Wellington School is looking to appoint a Sports Coordinator from September 2023 who will play animportant role within the Sport and Wellbeing Department.
This key role, supports the Director of Sport, Heads of Sports and Heads of Prep Sport with the coordination and administration of all fixtures and events, including setting up fixtures on SOCs (the school's on line portal for co curricular), booking transport, organising hospitality, updating SOCs, entering competitions, and updating risk assessments.
The Sports Co-ordinator is a varied and interesting role that requires a highly efficient, organised and accurate individual who also has a love of sport that they can draw upon to most effectively support the department.
There may be occasions when the role can contribute to the coaching programme supporting wellbeing and sports lessons and supervising teams for fixtures both home and away.
As a confident and committed individual, the successful applicant should have a passion for sport and a desire to be an integrated part of the department.
It is equally important to have a genuine interest in working with young people as this role plays a key part in ensuring pupils have a positive experience of Sport & Wellbeing.
We are looking for individuals who will use their relevant qualifications to support the department in helping pupils to reach their full sport potential and who can create and nurture outstanding working relationships with pupils aged 3 to 18, colleagues, parents and other external stakeholders.
The role can be residential with accommodation and meals provided (if the suitable applicant is willing to support the school with some Boarding duties).
Salary:
£18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
