As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Membership Sales Advisor (Sales & Retention Advisor) at our Birchwood Leisure Centre location.


Position Overview:


As a Membership Sales Advisor (Sales & Retention Advisor), you will play a crucial role in promoting our services and the benefits of improving health & well-being.

You will be responsible for driving membership sales and contributing to the overall success of our Charity.

You will be responsible for building relationships with potential members, providing exceptional customer service, and effectively communicating the benefits of our programmes and services.


Key Responsibilities:

Membership Sales: Actively promote and sell memberships to achieve monthly targets, using persuasive communication skills and a thorough understanding of our offerings.

Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with potential and existing members, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive experience throughout their fitness journey.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the features and benefits of our fitness programs and facilities, enabling you to effectively communicate these to potential members.

Lead Generation: Implement creative strategies to generate leads and increase footfall, both within the leisure centre and through external outreach activities.

CRM tracking: Complete necessary CRM tasks related to membership sales, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to create a positive and motivated working environment, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Operational Standards: Deliver venue cleanliness standards and operational procedures to the highest level, through the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks to produce expected and identified standards of presentation and to minimise the risk of accidents.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the fitness or leisure industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Selfmotivated with a positive attitude and a passion for health and fitness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Goaloriented and able to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Basic computer skills for handling membership systems and administrative tasks.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract


Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
