We're looking for a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Consultant who expects more from their career. It's a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby's Information Security Team function. It's an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers.


Joining our team, you'll work with world class and passionate people to own the DLP program and its activities, implement DLP rules using available tools and processes and build and maintain a roadmap for continuous improvement in the Data Protection space.


What you'll be working on

  • Responsible for ensuring DLP documentation is maintained, regularly reviewed, and adhered to
  • Monitor DLP alerts for breaches and investigate details for further review where there is a suspected incident
  • Manage escalation of breaches to ensure timely management awareness and response in the event of a confirmed incident
  • Support the potential risks management by ensuring effective remediation, in the event of confirmed incident
  • Assess any deviations and exceptions to policy and provide risk assessment and remediation plans as necessary
  • Engage with stakeholders to assess performance of DLP rulesets and effectively tune rulesets to reduce false positive. Where possible, identify and implement tuning opportunities
  • Create a roadmap for tuning and improving the DLP use cases and rulesets and supporting the implementation of suggested modifications
  • Contribute to the DLP strategy and roadmap towards greater maturity and coverage of data and environments, including expansion and improvement of technology and governance processes
  • Support security inquiries, risk assessments, or other adjudicative assessments, especially in the event of data loss incidents

What we expect from you

  • Significant experience within Risk Management, ideally with an emphasis on Information Security, and security best practices.
  • Detail oriented, with proven ability to mobilise and energise crossfunctional teams to implement solutions and complete tasks
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy and data governance
  • Strong reporting ability, with an understanding on how to tailor reports to different audiences
  • Extensive handson operational Data Loss Prevention experience and knowledge of DLP tooling
  • Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
  • Operational experience of MS O365 and MS Purview specially around security and compliance
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Security or related field or significant equivalent work experience
  • Certifications such as Security+, CISSP and\or CISM
