IT Infrastructure Engineer - Hull - £40,000 to £50,000 - Hybrid Working (2 to 3 days per week)

Principal IT are working with a new client based in Hull who are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

Our client pride who opened in 2006 pride them selves on delivering a competitive advantage to there clients through a world classservice.

Within this role you part of a 5-year growth plan in the business.

You will also be responsible for the delivery of all IT infrastructure and related IT operations used to enable business capabilities and services across the business.

As a member of the Infrastructure Implementation team you will also be responsible for the technology implementation and liaise with the onsite technical staff, core operation system, infrastructure components whilst working to their published service levelagreements.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and support the Infrastructure for IT & Operational Technology across the plants.

Work to agreed service-level & operational-level metrics.

Follow and strive for continuous improvement of the incident, problem, change & capacity management processes.
Stay up to date on IT operations, wider IT initiatives/projects, business challenges and other external changes that could have an impact.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager
Capacity and load planning
Take a proactive approach and constantly research, develop innovative technologies, deliver trend analysis, respond to, diagnose, and analyse issues ready to submit reports and recommendations to the Head of IT.
Need to be able to specify, design, develop, implement, and support complex technical solutions across platforms, in the process liaising with and managing 3rd party suppliers, short term contractors as well as use project management for implementation,testing, acceptance, rollout and handover ongoing support of these solutions across the entire Programme

Our client is looking for someone with a real focus on Infrastructure and Operations along with having a strong team work ethic but also having the ability to work on your own.

The Package:

If successful our client is offering a salary of between £40,000 to £50,000 per annum along with 22 days holiday.
